Some people will probably fob this off as some astrology star-sign Derren Brown shite, but hopefully others will give it a quick look because it's actually the result of decades of psychological research and is very bloody interesting!

The websites are pretty amateur, probably because they were made by university students, or similar, so are not all posh and expensive because they weren't ever intended for profit. But anyway.

First do this (takes about 10 mins): https://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

Answer the questions honestly (not as you would like to be, but as you really are). Get your answer, then read about yourself here:

https://www.personalitypage.com/html/portraits.html

If you've done the first questionnaire properly, the description you read should be highly accurate. And seriously, this isn't one of those stupid joke waste-of-time online personality quizzes where it relates your answers to the type of animal you are, or which historical dictator you would have been, or whatever else - it's proper!

More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator

Feel free to let us know what type you ended up with. Thumbs Up

It's a fairly common repost, and I'd be more inclined to take it seriously if they could even spell 'Extroversion' properly.

Had a team bonding day about this with work. I ended up as INFP. Quite interesting.

Apparently I'm ISPF. Some I would agree with, some not.

Came out as ENFP, which, having read the description, is pretty spookily accurate in a lot of places.

Cool test.

ENTJ
Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(38%) iNtuitive Thinking(88%) Judging(11%)
You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (88%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

Quote:
The Executive
There is not much room for error in the world of the ENTJ. They dislike to see mistakes repeated, and have no patience with inefficiency. They may become quite harsh when their patience is tried in these respects, because they are not naturally tuned in to people's feelings, and more than likely don't believe that they should tailor their judgments in consideration for people's feeling

Seems legit Thumbs Up

I did this at week at work. I'm an EFNP apparently (seems to suggest we are the personality type most likely to post in personality type posts).

I did the same thing about 12 years ago, and came out the same then too.

Edit: Just done the famous people finder. Apparently I'm with Hunter Thompson, which I guess explains my sig...

ISTPs have an adventuresome spirit. They are attracted to motorcycles, airplanes, sky diving, surfing, etc. They thrive on action, and are usually fearless. ISTPs are fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make their own decisions about their next step. They do not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit their ability to "do their own thing". Their sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes ISTPs prone to becoming bored rather quickly.

Sounds like me! Laughing

I instinctively mistrust things like this, although they are interesting and amusing in a gimmicky way.

They got at least one thing right though:

"They are attracted to motorcycles, airplanes...."

They're never truly accurate for me either. For some reason they always put me down as somebody that likes being a leader, where in reality I hate it.

Interesting responses from people. It's fair for some people to see it as hocus pocus bullshit, but I think that's more of a preconceived opinion. If you can see a bit of yourself in every description then you probably haven't even looked at it because frankly that's bullshit. This thing took years of research, and wasn't thought out by wishful gypsies looking up at the sky. But yeah it is all theoretical so fair play to any doubters. Definitely isn't astrology though!

I continuously get INTP, which is apparently the same mindset as Abraham Lincoln, Einstein, Darwin, Sigourney Weaver, Edward Norton, and, for a more 'observable' example (albeit not real) Maximum Decimus Meridius from Gladiator Laughing

Gave it a go, out of curiosity.
Apparently I'm "INTJ"... which didn't come as a total shock

It said I was an INTJ too.

But I really don't want to talk about it with out first thinking about what I might say.

ISJT

"ISTJs are often called inspectors. They have a keen sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and/or responsibility. They are noted for devotion to duty. Punctuality is a watchword of the ISTJ. The secretary, clerk, or business(wo)man by whom others set their clocks is likely to be an ISTJ. "
