What size leathers do you wear. How tall and heavy are you? The last time I was after new leathers I struggled to find anywhere online that stocked non power ranger looking leathers in anything that would fit my six foot one / two sixteen stone frame.

eBay if you're really pinching pennies. Got myself an AGV 2 piece set in VGC for £10.50.

Bargains are out there if you look hard enough.

+1 Agreed.

I'm the same size but managed to pick up a Frank Thomas XTi2 set from megamotorcycle whatever it is store (George White) for £150 in their sale.

Can be found but you have to hunt around.

That's about average and medium-ish, you should be able to find most options either new or nearly new.
Ebay is good as an awful lot of stuff gets lightly used then people give up bikes or get too fat. Very Happy

If nothing else worth a look to help decide what you do/don't like stylewise. You can see a lot of brands in one place rather than 2 or 3 a dealer might sell.

80% of the stuff on eBay is already for the... 'larger' gentleman, so I dread to think what they've become Laughing

ebay is a good place to start. Or look at high street shops and see if they have any discounted end-of-the-line stock, I got £200 knocked off my leathers because they were the last set in the shop.

Kinda hi-jacking the thread, but how do you know the sizes for leathers? Is it like normal clothes (measurements across the chest/inside leg/waist), or is it something different?

Also, is there a minium standard for leathers? Will a £200 set of leathers offer the same protection as a £500 set?

Generally (i.e. not for all suits!) you take ten off the euro size to get your chest size, so Eu52 is a UK42 Inch chest. For the waist size take off 16 - 18, so an Eu52 suit will be a UK 34 - 36 waist.

There are a multitude of different types of one piece suit and an EU52 Dianese might not fit you just because Alpinestars does. It all depends on your height, shape, inside leg, measurement from crotch to neck and length of arms.

There are a lot of cheap 2nd hand suits on ebay because people have purchased their size then find they don't fit.

Go to a retailer, try a load on, then try to find the same make and style 2nd hand.
