For a while now I'd thought of noobRider as a brave and hardy soul, who has overcome a great setback and regardless has managed to enjoy what we take for granted: motorcycling.

I'd seen his posts, and he'd never moaned about - or even mentioned - his problem, and yet it was obvious, staring out from his avatar:

https://cdn.bikechatforums.com/images/avatars/860950206509d5740ee3fe.jpg

He was an amputee. His entire right arm was missing. I inwardly saluted his bravery and dogged spirit, and had wondered about the modifications to his bike: no right arm, throttle and brake must be set up differently...

And yet, today, he posted this picture clearly showing he had 2 arms Shocked

noobRider, you have been healed! It's a miracle! Mr. Green

This is a picture from the 90's.

Also, it seems that the arm above has a metal rod impaled in it... and has fallen off from its host body... Someone should alert the owner.. Could be a wanking arm..

That's just the model with a built in arm rest, quite fancy

Fuck the VHS cassettes...

Tell me that's not a dead body unceremoniously dumped on that sofa and carelessly covered up.

Shocked

Jeez, I should have covered up all this evidence. Sad How did I get stuck in the 90's? And I've just bought a 1994 bike Exclamation

It can happen.
Sitting on the bike with the centre stand down and the bike in top gear reving the head off it can interupt the Space Time Continuum.

But luckily you're dressed for the 90s so you should be OK.

Very Happy

On the photo challenge isn't there a photo of him with both arms raised? for the area of outstanding natural beauty.

Found it: https://i.imgur.com/2tQKT.jpg

I'm not going to lie I was hoping he was wearing the same jumper.

I know people who still have bookcases of VHS cassettes (one notably has betamax tapes and a player still in operation.)

However, what gives him away is the jumper, I know of nobody who owns such an item these days (and I travel in very unfashionable circles.)

I think you've made a mistake with the very first photo though and him being an amputee, it seems clear to me that he has a hand but no arm to seperate it from his shoulder.

Thalidomide?

Maybe he's too young for that though.

If it was, he'd manage on a chopper maybe?
