Hello All

I'm young, dumb, and full of... Fun

I'm looking for a money-pit, a continuous source of annoyance.

Any recommendations, I'm thinking, really high CC older bike like CB1000

Or perhaps a race replica 250cc 2T bike...

Or even... Maybe, something a bit nutty like a GXSR or Ducati that's a proper death trap and what-not...

Not sure, 1-3k budget, just throw some suggestions my way with a little personal thought along with it. Thanks.

Try my CBR/Ninja.

If you don't die, buy the litre versions.

It'll probably break. Working on it will likely push you towards suicide. The appetite for fully synth and petrol will bankrupt you.

You'll endure it all for the noise it makes and the way it handles / stops.

On the OP's budget the price of a decent unmolested TZR250 3MA these days will bankrupt him long before he even thinks about the price of oil and fuel. Laughing

Himmm, the idea of a screaming two stroke sounds appealing, but shame there so expensive ether way you look at it.

Any old big CC machines I can be on the look out for?

Heard of the CB Big One (Used to have a CB-1) might be a good idea.

Ducati 748.

Slightly more reliable than a 250 2t, and a lot easier to live with. Also very cheap for what they are.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
