Slow post confirmation page?

Is it me but I click post and it hangs waiting for a long time.

Yet if I refresh the post in another window the post appears immediately.

What gives?

I find it is very slow in huge threads like the last post wins thread, but otherwise it is ok.

Yes mine are hanging after I press submit.

I can be reading my post in a new tab and the "post a reply" screen I posted it from is still hanging.

Just since yesterday but it's done this before. Usually accompanied by a huge increase in double and triple posts as people repeatedly mash the submit button.

Been having the same problem simple way around it though open up a new tab with the topic you are replying to, after you click reply check the topic you should see your post.

(It is just the transition page that is taking ages not the actual posting)

Once you have confirmed you have made the post, close the loading tab and hey presto you have a post and can continue your day no more waiting.

Can those of you who have this happen copy & paste the debugging information from the foot of the confirmation page (once it finishes loading) please? It looks like this:

This is happening to me too.

I've found that clicking submit, then waiting a second or two and clicking "preview" works. When I click preview the page refreshes and my post is shown in the thread box below, then I just click the link at the top of the page to go back to the main forum.

It seems intermittent. Some threads work fine and others don't.

Getting this back again with posting the workshop thread, information from the bottom have been viewing forum and using the internet with no problem at all so doubt its my connection.
