had a crash

A lady on the side of the road pulled a u-turn without seeing me.

I dont remember anything from the event, however, police and witness' say i was not to blame.

I consider myself very lucky indeed, 2 compound breaks one in the arm and wrist , dislocated elbow, broken noise, fractured pelvis, plus other minor injuries. I'm out of hospital now, the surgery they did on my arm went well.

Needless to say my bike is wrecked, I should have pics sometime soon still to hhurt to get them.

In any event I consider myself very lucky.

I take this as my chance and im hanging up the riding boots.

Granted you had a bad off but we have all had numerous offs but you just have to get back on it Cool

Sorry to hear about your accident, but at least your not too badly injured.

Don't make any rash decisions about quitting riding; give yourself some more time to think about it. Thumbs Up

I'm sorry about your accident. I hope you get better soon. I just had an accident four days ago. Also I don't think it's my fault. However I won't give up riding my bike. Instead I look at it with a lot more respect everytime I look at it I look at I know that it's capable of getting me hurt. But then again you could die tripping off the stairs. Just practice to drive safe, have fun and consider this as a gain in experience Thumbs Up
