Found this on my searches on the ebay.

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221164804539&clk_rvr_id=426231046422&item=221164804539&lgeo=1&clk_rvr_id=426231046422&vectorid=229508

Looks rather interesting.

What engine do people reckon would be best in that? I'm thinking a meaty V6 or an older ford engine would be interesting...

I think a car crusher engine would look superb running at full chat beside it as that fuckin' monstrosity is fed into it's jaws.

Rather you than me. Each to their own I guess, I've seen some nicely made trikes - there was a local guy called Melvyn who turned out lovely machines but that thing is a monstrosity.

Unless you're going for a Yank, I wouldn't mess about with a Ford lump, a Rover V8 is better in every respect.

I advise that you resist any urges that you may have towards purchasing this shitheap. It is cosmetically ugly and smells of bodge.
If you decide to let your heart overcome your commonsense then you must allow me to advise you that you can't just stick any old engine that has Ford stamped into it's block into the contraption that you are considering purchasing. Unless you swap like for like then you will almost certainly need to exchange the engine mountings, bellhousing, clutch assembly, propshaft etc.
Best of luck with your adventures, but please don't come crying on this site when everything goes pear-shaped, which it is almost certainly likely to do.
Sorry to be such an unsupportive postoer.

All that stuff is a piece of piss, frankly, but I still wouldn't bother with a Ford V6, either Essex or Cologne.

I've saw this in the flesh a few times, dude has parked it outside my work. It's a heap with what appears to be a rabbit hutch on the back.

Having looked at the photos I think you should go and find the original builder and quietly put his tools somewhere where he cant find them ever again.
