Yep, I once had a guy locked up on the floor, I inform the two female police officers that he's incredibly violent when they slap the cuffs on.

His mate kicks off with the first female so I have to restrain him for her too, then the the second female takes the first guy across the road, decides my advice is wrong, uncuffs him and he smacks her square in the face....of course she knows better than me though eh.

If anyone had went to get involved they would have been sprayed with CS and arrested too.

would have been more beneficial for the cop to let the bloke go then tackle him. holding on like that just made it harder to get a good grip on the rider.

yeah the skin head cop was friggin useless and do feel sorry for the skinny cop but it was avoidable had they not clung onto him like a hungry baby on its mothers tit.

also, trying to prevent him from leaving the car was a mistake as well, how are they going to cuff him in the back of a car? its not the easiest of things to do when they struggle, let alone kick of big time.

the whole incident was just poorly managed really.

options would have been, as said, let go, tackle him.
let him out the car, tackle him
cuff him before putting him in the car while he was calm
let him run off and pick him up at his house in a 2am raid.

i dont think guns are the answer, if they had tazers on them then it would have been even easier.
