Watch what happens when a pot filled with boiling water is thrown from the top of an apartment building in Russia as the outside temperature dips to -41C (-42F). Video taken on December 13th, 2012.

Ive done this in -30. It's quite fun the first 3 times then loses it's charm.

Didn't notice the piss turning to ice thing.. think it only works for boiling water.

But what is happening here is essentially super cooling from superhot, so all warm water would do is turn to ice and fall to the floor, boiling water/steam with a "looser" molecular structure will do that.....well if I understand that correctly, so if that is right, then yes it does only work with boiling water Thumbs Up

Thanks Pits Thumbs Up , Yup, that's what I meant! It doesn't just turn to snow like it does with boiling water. Cold water does freeze but with this "experiment" the water would hit the ground way before it froze.....Sooo fuck you! Wink
