Hi guys

Have seen the BB playbook for 129 quid in PCM world??

It looks like quite a good tablet for the money ?

It's for the mrs to use,we have a laptop and iPad already but I use iPad at work and finish late so thought this would be perfect fore Facebook ,Internet browsing etc etc

Views opinions welcome !

They're quite popular, good for Internet, emails, youtube etc maybe missing out on some of the accessibility that android provides.

I'm sure there's a free case with it from PC World at the moment. Thumbs Up

I've got one, and for me it's perfect.

I travel to Zurich a lot for work and like to keep the crap I carry on me to a minimum. Once I've dumped my hold luggage, the Playbook slips into a pocket with my passport and phone. Perfect!

It may not be as fancy as an iPad and it may not have as many apps as Android tablets. However, it's pretty solid, the OS hasn't yet crapped out on me and it does music, video and Flash (Ahhh! He saved every one of us!).

Nexus 7 outperforms it in most tests and reviews.

How much is a Nexus 64GB? Smile

A CBR600 vastly outperforms my CB-1 in literally every category but my CB-1 only cost £450 and I don't find myself wanting for anything more. Wink

I hear it could run Android apps but it was then taken away again.

Anyone know much about the state of android apps on the thing?

As far as I'm aware they could be side loaded but then android pulled it. I haven't heard much since.

Where did you get that then as as far as i can see they are sold out everywhere, even on googles own play store where they are still £200 when available.

I think I managed to buy the last one in the country, from ASDA of all places. Cost me £169 for the 16GB version, but that's more than enough for the Mrs.
