Here we go. Everyone has to ring up the poor call centre workers just because lazy arse parents can't look after their children.

I feel sorry for the kids, it's character building! I got caught on porn in school, it didn't make me nuts or "lose my memory"

I do think internet porn is having an effect on our youth....It must be.
Porn had an effect on me. Ok it was in '79 via a very fuzzy image and actually learning what was going on was difficult as both parties had more body hair than Chimps in a zoo, but what I took from that fuzzy video was the image of some damn fast shagging.
So when I finally got the opportunity for some rumpy-pumpy I went for it like a 2stroke piston in a 250 gp bike. Great for me, not so for her as I rogered her head down the back of the settee.

She who controls the filter list controls the universe.

Now... David who? Maybe we should let Parliament have a say in making laws, eh? Hopefully the ISPs will tell them to get fucked by bears with the Bad AIDS, until they put a statute on the books.

And not a moment too soon!!!

These fucking kids don't know their born, in my day we had to walk through many a park and wooded area to find some mud covered, soaked through pages of a grumble mag, and you only had a few moments to file the images in the wank bank before basher barry the school bully claimed it as his own.

Its about time these kids earned their wank for a change!

Fucking bang on.

There'll be some shithead in the IWF or where ever that deems real images of Palestinian/Libyan/Syrian kids being killed/wounded/choose atrocity there's plenty of the fucking things to be too disturbing for our kiddywinks and will put such news items on the ban list. That's how all censorship starts, sanitising reality to please the deluded. It can't be happening I don't see it on the news or in the papers, I can't even find it on the net. Fuckers.

I seem to recall an item on the alternative media has been flagged by the IWF before as being "disturbing", tho can't remember the specifics.

I you are so retarded as to let your kids have access to the net in their room without any supervision and expect them not to check out anything verboten out of curiosity then your household deserves banning from net access due to you being a total fucktard.

Can we have a new karma thread? A special Fuck the Daily Mail edition?

Still gonna be a PITA. Blocking something on a router is easy to bypass, blocked by the ISP means someone somewhere else has to offer a proxy capable of handling gigabytes a minute of porn for UK teens.

A lot of money to be made somewhere, 16 year olds with their first visa debit buying a £3.99 VPN to Finland to watch porn.

Those were indeed the salad days and halcyon times of porn.

Now I'm only a few clicks away from watching a tranny being penetrated by a horse - not that it's a bad thing, it just removes the thrill of the chase somewhat.

A few years ago, whilst out walking the dog in a local wood, someone else was obviously yearning for those times of innocence, and had created a fantastic 'porn trail' for others to enjoy - at every twist and turn in the forest path, I was greeted by a new page from a porn mag, pinned to a tree trunk, or suspended from a branch.

It was a heart-warming experience, and if I ever met the mysterious porn-pinner, I would shake him firmly by the hand.
(and then go and wash my hands thoroughly)

It brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.....

Crying or Very sad

STOP TELLING ME WHAT'S GOOD AND BAD FOR ME FOR FUCK'S SAKE

Fucking hell I really am quite worried about the future of the world. Why should some group of people be able to decide how my life should be run?

It's already a thing on mobile phone networks, I can't remember which site it was (wasn't a proper porn one) but I clicked a link once and apparently I have to supply o2 with my passport number to view 18+ material Eh?

I've got that. Although mine they just want me to deposit £1 into my phone balance to prove I'm over 18.

Fcuking annoying as I've been with O2 for over four years now and have paid by direct debit for the last two.

I've got to go into an O2 store with some identification. Very annoying.

I don't understand these parents, I've never once 'stumbled' onto porn. It seems to me these parents are clearly unfit in controlling their children in these areas, hoping their ISPs will do it for them.

Mobile phones, now ISPs, several steps towards filtering as much as the Internet as possible. It's sad really, I thoroughly enjoy the interent being unregulated as possible.

When I was a kid we used to break into the windows of factory locker rooms to get to the grumble mags and calendars. That was before we just decided to shoplift them from the paper shop.

I decided to track down an old edition of Club I found in one particular factory. I eventually found it and leeched it a couple of years ago from the Vintage-Erotica forum.

God it was grim.

If I was a kid these days I'd wear it down to the root.

But it says:

Quote:
Every owner of a new computer will be asked when they log in through their Internet service provider if they have children in the house. If they answer yes, it will immediately prompt them to set up filters blocking content, individual sites, or restricting access at particular times of day, according to the Mail.

If those options just get clicked through rapidly, filters that keep out porn and "self-harm" sites will be "on" by default.

Big deal!! I don't have any kids living in the house, simple.

You cant or are unable to understand the implications of this further down the line.
today they have managed to get the ISP's filter content with the end user in control. the next step is to take away that control for the populations "safety". Then the content filtering is no longer just porn and self harm but perhaps political content that criticises the government.
and before you know it you'll only be allowed to view sites that are on the allowed list.

just remember its all for your own good because your too fucking stupid.

This is quite lolworthy in a way, because some very naive geeks kept saying "They can't control the internet, maaaaan!"

Orly?

My answer from day one has been "They can control ANYTHING, providing they have the political will".

Look up Emergency powers. They can do ANYTHING to the UK communications network. If, to use a crude example, the powers that be decide they don't want two neighbouring villages talking to each other, it doesn't take a great deal for that to happen. A couple of exchanges and phone masts shut down, and a couple of roadblocks if we're really serious, and you're isolated.

Accept it. It's happening.

But said geek would get around that. It's rather trivial really.

Short of closing off the country completely it is not possible to filter someone who doesn't want to be filtered.

I mentioned in another thread how to bypass all country restrictions, that's a good start on how to bypass any national filters. I get the same problem as redoko, but I can't be bothered to go into O2 as it takes me 5s to bypass.

The Internet cannot be controlled for those who really know what they're doing. I doubt it could even be turned off nowadays!

Unless they go all China about it, and have a completely different internal internet.

From friends working in China, VPNs only work for a short time. Tunnelling etc again only works for a short time. The obvious satellite internet is even barred. I remember flicking through a lufhansa mag and everywhere had inflight sat internet except China.
