Anyone rockin the lobster jobs?

https://www.aerostich.com/files/images/detailed/442_c2h.jpg

Is the theory with 'em that yr digits stay warmer if they're uhm snuggled up against each other a bit more? I'm thinking the ultimate winter glove system could be some zoidbergs with a pair of silk five finger efforts underneath. True there's no armoured knuckle type stuff goin down but still. Might get some zoidbergs with xmas cash if I get any. What say ye?

Used the Pathan gloves from Hein Gericke for a good few years while riding 12-14 hours a day in all weathers, all year. During Jan/Feb I used to put a set of cheap muffs on as well. No electrical heating elements, just those and the muffs kept me toasty and to a large extent fairly dry (although that is a relative term Laughing).

In short, get a decent pair and they're an excellent purchase for all year riding.

Yes but don't you think a gossimer thin, silken under-glove would off-set that? Mr. Green

I use HG Pathans and they're fantastic, my wife rates them too.

Tucano Urbano muffs are warmer, but they look ghey and they're HUGE.

Pathans have also been excellent for waterproofing.

Yeah - exactly. Doing the woop woop woop thing is a big part of the 3 finger mitt deal. Or so I imagine. However the ghey quotient needs careful consideration. On one side - lovely warm hands. On t'other - a compromised, quite fragile heterosexual identity.

Decisions, decisions. Mr. Green

If Zoidberg = Ghey
and
Cruiser = Ghey
Then
Zoidberg + Cruiser = https://media.entertainment.sky.com/image/unscaled/2010/02/02/Pineapple-Studios-24.jpg

So I ride with cold hands and a nervous bottom, there is no win win for me. Crying or Very sad
