Anyone heard anything about them? There's a very tasty Tiger 800XC going for a very good price, especially since the luggage is includied:

https://www.motorcyclesforsaleuk.co.uk/bike543/usedmotorcyclesfor-sale/triumph/tiger/tiger-800.aspx

They say you get a 7-day money back guarantee but don't the distance selling regulations stipulate 14 days? Or does that not apply to vehicles?

Easy enough to find reviews. They're mostly good, but the "guarantee" is everything we've come to expect from motor traders.

Needless to say C & A motors or Bike 543 or whatever they are really called refused to pay [to remedy an oil dripping 'immaculate' bike]

couldn’t deliver for two to three weeks. [...] back tyre was barely legal and the dashboard was badly cracked [...] they hadn’t noticed the damage

Nearly bought a bike off them earlier this year, again good condition and price, did some research and mostly found positive feedback, they were very helpful when I phoned them ( I live 200 miles away so was going to be delivered ) I recall that they said you could refuse the bike when delivered if not as described, i also recall there were a few additional charges such as admin for card payment etc you may want to look into, in the end one popped up locally so didn't proceed, just my two pence worth.

Not a bad price. That's £500 worth of luggage from Triumph.

What a sucker!! If I ever get a call like that I respond with "Ah well, that's a shame - never mind I'll keep looking" - it's funny how this 'other buyer' will invariably fail to materialise.

That's where I bought my Daytona from, they were ok to deal with and the bike came with a brand new pair of tyre's but was not perfect (the price reflected the dodgy paint on 1 panel and a couple of other niggles).

Overall I would buy from them again.
Because I hadn't been riding for that long I couldn't test ride the Daytona so they let me take it on the understanding that if I didn't get on with the bike and returned it by closing time they would simply give me the SV back and forget the whole thing. None of the local dealers were interested in anything like that, their attitude is 'you need your license for 2 years before you can have a test ride, Insurance reasons mate'.
