I've broad shoulders and a small-ish waist so tops/jumpers usually have too much 'space' around the waist/hip area. I want to customize them so that tops sit tight around the waist.

I have a sowing machine if that helps.

Quite how you expect to adjust clothing with a seed drill is beyond me Wink

1. put it on inside out.

2. using pins, pinch the sides into where you want the shirt to sit. so there'll be a correctly fitting shirt, with sort of "fins" going up your sides.

3. take your sewing machine, and sew up the line created by the pins.

4. turn it the right way round and try it on....

5. if step 4 fits perfectly and youre happy with the quality of your stitching, cut the "fins" off with a scissors as you've created your new seams and they aren't needed anymore.

couldn't be more simple.
