This is Luke's bike, but since he's decided to abandon it in my garage, it's going up for sale.

The bike currently won't start, though I reckon all it needs is a good clean out and maybe new plugs cos it sounded like it was very close to starting when we last tried to bump it. One of the fork seals is leaking.

It has no road fairings any more, has a race tail unit and no front fairing.

It has a V5, I'm presuming the MOT and tax have run out.

If there's any interest I'll bother to uncover it and take some photos. Here's an old one before the fairings were changed.

Any questions, please direct them to Luke.

I think the point is that it's cheap because he can't be bothered to fix it himself. If he was to find out the problem, he could probably charge a lot more if it's something pretty simple (having bump started it, I personally reckon it probably is, don't quote me on that though Smile ).

Dufus Schmuufus.

M. the only way we can tell if it has anything majorly wrong with it is to go and check it out. I can get someone to go and have a look with you. The frame and forks, wheels etc will have to be checked out. Even then, there could the chance that there is no point in doing anything with it.

We don’t know the nature of the crash or how it was running before it went down.

So far we know it was raced, has been chucked down the track/road. Has pretty much no plastics, has a leaking fork and doesn't start.

So not in the best of conditions, but I'm sure the price will reflect that accordingly.

Have some manners, boy. Sun

Hi
WTF it was never raced, and it was running fine after a little crash, i think i rode it for about 4 months, then i stripped it sold the parts, put it in the garage for 3-4 months took it out, wouldnt start.

So im guessing its not anything major. I mean what can happen to it whilst sitting in a grage Smile.

Somewhere is probably a video of Luke directly after the minor slide that damaged the fairings. He looks safe and well and is able to exclaim in anger.

I would imagine that if the bike was crashed hard enough to damage the wheels/frame/prevent the engine from starting, then Luke would have been in a similar state. He wasn't hurt and the bike had a damaged fairing.

What has been said is no exaggeration... simple innit? Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Sorry I got the impression from (INSERT NAME) it was raced.

I dont think there is any real problem with posting here. Its probably better (for you), because everyone will get to know about the bike and the details. Meaning more informed people, who would be thus be more inclined to buy the bike.

Sorry i thort there was a bike for sale bendy/ luke i didn't realise you were merely trying to show how silly some ppl are!!!!!!! Mr. Green
Sorry didn't mean that but you read the ad if you have any quieres you ask luke, I mean i have already pm'd him similar important questions such as to the nearest half miles how many miles are on the tyres, At wat time did he last run the bike, Are the bores in good condition, what would be the weight of the bike on the moon!!!!!
If you want a bike that runs perfectly then pay the going price, As said b4 the price reflects condition and i recommend Ebay if you need to check. By the Way can i take this oppertunity to wish you all a luvly day
Cheers Tony

I very much doubt it mate. That's why it's so cheap. Because it's a risk, however they have explained that it was fine before being stored 4 months ago so it's likely to need the carbs cleaning and maybe new plugs and it will probably fire up straight away.
