Went out today for a 'look' at bikes and ended up buying a 2009 Sv650s!!

This sparked a conversation between me and my dad which resulted in him telling me about how he had rode into a shop with his Cb1300 and ended up riding out with a Fireblade

I'm curious as to hear about anyone else doing stuff like this, so if you have any stories please share Very Happy

Drank a bottle of wine woke up the next day to ebay telling me i bought a Fzr 600 located 170 miles away, it was cheap and is serving its purpose of giving me something todo during the winter nights what with shite TV that makes my brain want to implode ,

oh yeah i bought a Turbo a GT15 to bolt on it, thought it was good idea (wine + ebay again Smile ) the turbo aspect may be a longer term project due to sourcing of parts and availble funds, currently looking for a scavenge pump never thought they would be so pricey!

Yeah, was riding along and came across a Triumph dealership I didn't know was there and stopped in to waste some time. Walked out having signed the papers for an '06 Tiger 955i, lol.

There must be something about this dealer, because approximately a year after I popped in to pick up some scottoiler oil and ended up putting a deposit down on my current Sprint ST 1050.

LOL Very Happy

Rode into a Triumph dealership to check out the Street Triple, it was above my budget, then my eye caught a shiny ER-6N just as I was ready to leave, I asked for a test ride, and an hour later I was signing the papers for my first big bike Thumbs Up

Wandered into Pure Triumph in Woburn after going to see the stall my mate had in the village fair about bee keeping.

I left the missus eating a burger outside in the carpark and came out having traded in my Street triple for a Tiger Explorer.

I went and told the missus, she said 'Look on Facebook when you get home'

I looked and she had posted from her phone - John has just gone into the Triumph shop, I think this is going to be expensive. Embarassed

She knows me too well Laughing

My mate went in to to get a pillion footpeg for his bike, so that he could take his GF out, and came out proud owner of an ex-demo SV1000. His GF called it Peggy.
