If you can decipher this it may help:

To my best understanding; passing your mod2 on the 125 mod1 will grant you only a 125 license, even after Jan 19th. However as you're 24 you could ditch it all and immediately go for the 'direct access' - unrestricted license for which you will need to do a mod1 and mod2 again on a larger bike (assuming your theory/ CBT is still valid, they last two years). |

I'm on my phone, but YouTube Roadcraftnottingham
He's done an excellent video explaining the new system.
If I remember correctly, you only need to do the mod 1 once, so it might be easier going for 125, then in the future paying for a hire bike for Mod 2
...
But din't hold me to that, check out the video |

Roger have you heard anything about the combined tests, the one that they were after volunteers for before. Guessing its not going to go ahead as it would just complicate things. |
Nope, and I'd expect the Sir Humphreys have killed it in committee. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I managed to change my details online to full restricted A2 licence and I slipped in 'commuting' as well - no charge with Ebike
And well done again on the pass - fancy going bike hunting in 2015? ____________________ If you can keep your head when all about you
