Hey guys, I'd like to introduce my self, I'm Ron Smile

I hope you all had a good time off work! I got my motorbike for Christmas, and I'm chuffed with it, It's nearly ready for the road! Just waiting on new bearings. It's a Lexmoto XTRS 125, and I know I'll get some stick for owning a Chinese bike, but I'd rather call it brave Wink

Anyway, I hope to speak to you all soon, Take care!

Lo Ron. If you like the bike then that's great. I hope it lasts long enough to pass your test. Razz

Thanks guys! It's currently in my uncles garage, he is fixing it up, just waiting on bearings (which should have arrived today) and then I'll be on the road, I like the look of the bike, but I haven't had chance to give it some yet Wink

Looks good, won't last.

you want more than bearings, he wants to strip it all down. Check ALL the bolts, grease and loctite anything.

It it moves and shouldn't, loctite.
If it doesn't move and should, grease.
If it does move and looks like it always will need to, more grease.

Breakdown cover, ACF50 and start saving for a new one.

That should solve the issue Thumbs Up

Heh, you will get stick, and rightly so. That's got the same stone age CG-copy engine as many other Chinese branded bikes. "Giving it some" will mean 60mph on the flat, although your speedo will flatter to deceive.

That said, they're very pretty CBR copies, the engines are actually pretty robust, so take good care of the rest of it and you might actually get a lot of grins for your money.

See you in the Workshop. Wink

I've got an XTR S 125 too. Mines surviving, only done about 4500miles but its still alive (other than coming off, stupid twats knocking it over).

Seems to be okay so far, not a bike I plan to keep for long though Smile

No worries.

I don't suppose you are looking at the Derbi GPR Nude at all...?

Exactly the same as the Racing, but doesn't look like its trying to be a sports bike, but its actually a dirtbike engine in a slow frame Wink

If it is the nude... PM me, I may be able to help.

Right, welcome by the way. I've gone through 2 Chinese bikes myself, they're actually OK - if you get lucky. Wink
