I want to go to London on Friday it will cost two of us over £50 by train but about 40 quid in the car and we will have more flexibility. I want to park up in Northern London and take the tube in to the centre. Any ideas of cheap parking in the North?
Thanks
Wali

I always used to park in Hendon and catch the train in - plenty of free parking around there.

Edgeware shopping centre has some fairly cheap long stay parking. It's right on the end of the Northern Line.

I live near Newbury Park tube station which is NE London, residential area, really quiet, free parking and a five minute walk (if that) to the station then 20/30 minute central line tube and you can be in Tottenham Court Road or anywhere similarly central Thumbs Up

I will be charging £5 an hour to listen out for your car alarm however Laughing

You can park in Enfield residential area's for free, and then get the train with a Zone 1 - 4 travel card... Cant remember the cost of the travelcard but it would be much cheaper than £50!!!

My Dad lives near Bush Hill Park station and you can park your car down most of the roads near there for free/no permit etc and then walk to the station which then takes you to Liverpool Street.

I sometimes park at Wembley station - always find a space in the car park, and its very cheap. I also sometimes park near collindale station. If its the weekend, I try my luck and drive into central.
