Hi could anyone tell me if I'm better buying one piece waterproofs or two piece. I have hein greckle leathers for dry days but no good for winter. My son wears a cheap two piece that keeps him dry but he says they don't breath and make him sweat ( mind you he rides a vespa px so doesn't go fast enough to get any air to his body Laughing )I've seen unlined suits for peanuts but should I just put them on over my leathers Question

One piece suits are difficult to get on.
They will generally start to leak around the crotch or you will snag the knee.
Then you have to buy a whole suit rather than the trousers only.

A lightweight one piece that will roll up and sit under the seat is not a bad idea for occasional days you get caught out.
A good two piece suit is a better plan for regular use this time of year when it's almost always wet on the road even if it's not raining.

Most alpine stars gear have zip able edges so can zip any of them together to make a 1 piece, best of both worlds

I was riding during that bad spell before Xmas and was bone dry and toasty with only a t shirt underneath. Has removable liners too for milder conditions

I use two piece waterproofs that I bought from Go Outdoors (HiGear Stowaway jacket and trousers... or similar).

They're made to be waterproof against some of the worst rain that a casual mountain hiker could expect, and I've found them to be really good when commuting or going for a weekend blast.

Grinfactor Kevlar Jeans, waterproof version.

I bought them at Motorcycle Live in Bham last year (well 3 months ago), and they are superb. A week ago heavy rain caught me on the motorway, and after 20 minutes I was still bone dry inside, crotch and all!

Cheapo builders overjacket/trousers, totally waterproof and about twenty quid a set.

Thanks for the advice I think I will go with the two piece. I have looked at ghostbikes and they seem to have reasonably priced sets.
