I agree. He nearly took another bike out at 1.10.

Fairly sure video is speeded up. If I could be bothered i'd compare speedo reading over a straight stretch against road features.... but I can't be arsed.

He doesn't go over 60mph at any point, the traffic is stationary and the footage is heavily edited to remove any parts where he slowed down. Reasonably good obs on joining and leaving another carriageway.

I've done worse and faster.

He's going to kill his bike if he keeps banging it off the rev limiter like that though.

That's Kle621 on Youtube.
Take a look at his channel and you'll realise that this
sort of riding is a routine to that guy Laughing

Yeah just after I watched this, I saw one of him on a Hornet which was far faster and better quality.

I kinda realise now I was bit quick to make the thread Laughing
Ah well... Shit happens.

No you havn't, moron.

I hope this video is sped up. I doesn't look like his throttle/clutch movements sync up with the sound.

You can see the speedo... most of the time he seems to be doing 100 km/h although it drops to 50 in some places. I think it's that mad Russian(?) bloke.

Cars leave big gaps though... UK drivers are up each others arse in traffic like that.

And you would know that how?

I've done 60mph through gridlocked traffic before and that was taking it slow.

Yes I have.

His speedo never exceeded 120km/h, he wasn't even breaking the speed limit.

The footage is not speeded up, it seems entirely proportional to the indicated road speed relative to the stationary traffic. What it doesn't show is him slowing for choke points and slower filterers, it just cuts to a point beyond them.

When it looks like that and the traffic is already doing 60mph, THEN you'll know what high speed filtering is.

And don't call me a moron, n00b.

But you are, if you've filtered the same as the guy in the vid.

That's different.

Even then, dick would have been a better term. Moron implies I am of below average intelligence and therefore incapable of deciding if my riding is stupid or reckless. I can assure you, I'm full aware of what I'm doing if I decide to ride like a cock.

He was questioning the veracity of my statement, not my riding and that really gets on my wick.

Cringe.

Cars don't see you at the best of times, seriously increasing the chances of kittens dying riding like that!

The guys just a twat.
Even if I had the skills/confidence to filter at this speed, no way I'd do it.
The road doesn't need blokes like this. Thumbs Down

You certainly don't need skills to filter like that. I wouldn't say confidence is the right word either...just a lack of imagination.

You're basically just trusting your life to all the people you pass. I sometimes ride in a way that might be considered dangerous but I like to at least try to keep control over it myself. As in, stick to situations where if I die it'll be because I made a mistake, not someone else.

I really enjoy filtering but this is just a whole new level. Hope he doesn't trip on his balls. Or kill/injure anyone.

Okay, so he can react quickly to stationary traffic on a wide-laned highway and film it with a wide-angle lens that makes the gaps look narrower than they are.

I'd like to bring him to London where there are pedestrians, cyclists and other cars emerging from left and right in stationary traffic at any time, see how long he lasts without killing someone and/or himself.

I've filtered through traffic at 60, I will do in about 15 minutes, it doesn't look remotely that fast.
