So exactly a week later after I posted about my terrible CBT experience, I have successfully passed the CBT today. I was reccomended Academy Bike Training from a member off here after my awful experience with CAM rider. If anyone is interested they can read the thread here:
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=262420&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=75

CAM did refund my money, so fair play to them, but I woudln't use them again.

I thoroughly enjoyed today though and really think that motorbiking is for me. I cannot reccomend ABT enough; they provided an excellent service and offered alot of good advice.

Cheers guys! Very Happy

Glad to hear it mate, for me the CBT was all about being introduced to the biking world and just having a great day of learning and having fun!
All the best with your biking mate.

Fair on them for refunding me. Tbh I think they knew it was out of order. I've heard from people who have actually already had grievences with the instructor I had.

Cheers guys! Just have to save the rest of the money and I'll have a bike. I'm thinking about the Honda Veradero; though they seem quite pricey. I liked the Suzuki GN when I rode it and found it super comfy. Might look at the YBR custom too.

A win all round, well done Smile Also you seem to have completed your CBT at this new school with no additional training, odd that the CAM instructor seemed to think that was unusual......

That's really good news that you have your CBT certificate and thoroughly enjoyed the training. A good CBT experience will set you up with so much enthusiasm for riding and good instructors are worth their weight in gold for your riding future. Are you going further with it and get your full license, or is a 125 all you need?

I want to go the full way and get a bike licence. I'm old enough for the new A2 allowing up to 47bhp, though I will ride a 125 for a year I reckon.
