My forks seem like they're half compressed so the front's an inch lower or so. Seems way too soft aswell. I've checked for any leaks and there aren't any but it's getting annoying as my balls squish against the tank when going over bumps etc
Is it just a case of new springs and oil? I didn't even notice it until my cousin asked why my forks are shorter than his then we realised they're like half way down
I thought it started wallowing around a bit in bends ____________________ Bandit 600 - deaded |

Fork springs do eventually become weak and sag. Unless someone has changed the seals/oil at some point and missed out the spacers (if it has them) you would be best to change them. Try progressive springs, they work really well on road bikes at all speeds. I have them in my 1200 Bandit and they are great. I had a ZZR1100 a few years ago where the springs had sagged and every time i hit the brakes it bottomed out with a thud. Not nice. ____________________ https://www.motorcycle-road-and-race.co.uk and https://www.sw-motech-shop.co.uk/ and https://www.motorcycle-luggage.co.uk/ |
