hi all, does anyone know how much quad/buggy insurance will be ?

i have a gsmoon 260cc wich has had a cheeky engine transplant and everything upgraded to suit the kawasaki ZX10R engine so its a pokey little thing.


any info would be great as iknow it will be in excess of 1k ? as my car is 2.5k to insure :/

If you don't declare the mods, then maybe. If you declare the mods you'll never get insured.

Seems silly to post on a public forum that you've made these mods, as now you'll have to declare them... Insurance companies aren't stupid.

i would declare them anyway because my dad insured it declared. and it sounds nothing like a single cylinder anyway. soon as a copper looks at it he will knows got something bigger, and its not exactly slow when its sticking with 919cc blades to 127mph, i could insure it as a named driver ? as its only taken out in the summer and track days

A quad won't keep with a Blade, no matter how crippled the blade is.

Declaring that mod will make in non insurable.

youve obviously never been in a buggy thst weighs less than 400 kilos with a 185bhp kawasaki zx10r engine strapped to it, to the back wheels then, search buggy bypass on youtube, and watch it down their :p n the blade was a street fighter, its best to just keep it for track day use rather than road use then i suspect ?
