Is it possible? The only laptop I have at the minute is my work one and P2P traffic is blocked. It would be handy if it was possible with an app or website from my iPhone.

Cheers Thumbs Up

What exactly is your problem?

Do you want the music that's on your iPhone on your laptop?
try one of these https://techtips.salon.com/use-iphone-flash-drive-4836.html

Do you want to stream music to your laptop?
you could set up your iPhone to tether (speak to your operator) and then do some funky routing to ensure only connections to certain sites use the phone and the rest use your work wifi.

Question is in both cases though, why not just use your phone to listen to the music?

https://download.cnet.com/YTD-Video-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.html

this program splits the video and music from youtube media and saves to a format playable on your phone. I'm sure there is an app in the app store that will allow you to do the same on your iDevice

There are a few torrent clients for android, but I'm not sure if there are any for the iPhone.
If there are, I would hazard a guess that your phone would need to be jailbroken (or whatever they call it these days) Rolling Eyes

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I would like to download music to my iPhone, from my iPhone. Cutting out the need to use iTunes on a laptop and copying it across.

Rolling Eyes

I think I read it right. He would like to obtain music, from the internets, via his mobile data plan, direct to his phone, to listen to...

Like I said, with an android you can torrent like you would on a PC (provided you have an unlimited or pretty hefty data bundle), but I don't know it a torrent client is available for the iPhone..

I guess you could rip the mp3 track from youtube videos (there must be an iPhone app for that), but the quality would most likely be shocking...

Thumbs Up
