Skimlinks

Just reading a thread and noticed that a program called Skimlinks is now running on the board, I don't mind the adverts as they create the revenue to keep this place going, but Skim links and other programs which highlight choice words in a block of text and then provide a clickable link on those words is somewhat annoying.

It's much better than it was.

The links it does are destinguishable from a normal hotlink and they seem to have got their scripting sorted out, it used to cause horriffic lag.

I don't find it too intrusive.

Best guesses as to how to enable adverts but shitcan the skamlinks? AdBlock nukes them both.

Bear in mind that I try very hard to profess insouciance, so I'm unlikely to try more than a couple of solutions.
