Some failed my mod 2 first time round and my examiner was an actual cock lol.

My mate done his today and passed first time, I'm very happy for him but I can't help but feel some sort of ...... Pissed off? - he's a bad rider, my instructor even suggested he had another lesson before the test. He called me up and said if they have handed a certificate to him then something must be wrong.

...... No I am not a bad friend actually.......it's just pure jealousy lol Mad

Brush it off, get back on and channel your frustration into positive energy to succeed.

Or some bollocks Laughing

I can imagine it comes down to how you handle nerves as well as the bike, plus if your examiner was 'an actual cock' (I'm imagining a giant penis in a hi-viz) then this also may have put you off.

I.e. It's not a true reflection of your riding abilities, just as your 'friend' may have had an examiner who couldn't be bothered. That's not to take away from his achievement though, nor add to your loss.

It is what it is!

At the end of the day, you may become a better rider for it in the long run, focusing more on specific parts of the test that you may have failed and therefore increasing your skills.

No in all honesty I'm really glad he passed, just bitter that I didn't.

He's coming to show me his bike later, thinks I'm getting on the back but he forgets I did the lessons with him and heard what his instructor was saying lol Mr. Green

I was the other way around. When I done mod 1 the other guy with me failed. Same with when I passed my mod 2. While I felt for the guy that failed I was glad it was him and not me.

Especially mod 2 as it took me until the third go to pass the bugger.

Bitch.

Doovy I started riding when I was around 18. Sadly I had to stop for the guts of 15 years or so. Only passed my test 3 years ago this coming year.

Stopped on some ice and back wheel locked, skid, failed Sad

3 minors were for leaving gaps at stationary too big but to be honest my instructor said "he can go fu*k himself" lol

I was always told to leave a gap the same size as the vehicle in front but he thought / knew different

stop bitching about your fail and get back on the bike and make sure you pass next time!

I did all of my tests twice, just because I've heard that all the best riders pass second time Wink

but mostly because I just assumed I would pass my theory, didnt do any observations on my mod 1 and didnt use the back brake at all on the mod 2. i knew it was my fault and knew what i had to do to pass second time.

sounds like you didnt get a lot wrong anyway and as you will be getting the restricted licence, just think of what lovely bike you could be riding next Laughing
