Facebook - Youtube in China

I hope i never asked in here before, but can one of you tech guys offer a resolution to getting Facebook here in China. I have tried lots of things from other people's suggestions but nothing works. I don't really want to pay for it which seems the only option left, I cannot set up a server either.

I will try most things and report back as to success.

I've travelled a bit in China; for some reason I could get on Facebook just fine in the Shangri La hotel in Shenzhen.. anywhere further away from Hong Kong and it was denied. Not sure if that was the hotel bending the rules or what...

I've tried https://www.ninjacloak.com/ and i'm sure that worked a few years back, not sure if it's blocked now though..?

A proxy should work, even a simple one like ultrasurf might do the job

I am not so geeky to understand all you have advised, but proxys dont work as I have tried that. I tried Tor but nothing, unable to find server!!

What is RDP?

Ninjacloak seems to show me my FB, but I am worried about entering personal passwords ..

What is VPN?
