So bike law in the UK changes next week. Ive my module 2 on monday for Direct Access, Now im lucky enough that if i fail (i do not want to) that the change doesnt affect me, but it does affect a great majority of people.

There still seems to be alot of grey areas for this law. So anyhaps, just want to see if anyone had much to say on the subject. I feel this is a massively unfair stand as car tests seem to have gotten easier (ie. you only have to do one manouver now) and that as of this month. The AM class? i think? micro car is appearing, allowing you to drive a car at 16, with passengers, as long as the vehicle can not do greater than 28mph and weighs no more than 350 (i think, dont quote me!?) whilst the role is to replace that of say, the moped, there is nothing in place such as a CBT or similar

Maybe you should let someone else have your test then? It's only a week or two delay for you, but saves a massive multi-year ball ache for someone else.

Oh hai!

Only that it was conceived by one bunch of unaccountable OCD spackers who despise bikes, and implemented by another bunch of unaccountable OCD spackers who are more interested in gold plating their cosy offices and tiny empires than in road safety or getting people into biking.
