No chance.
If its a 50cc putting a race variator wont make much of a top speed difference. It may vary the acceleration performance wise.
It depends on what rollers you have.
But i dont care what anybody says, i doubt it will do 70.
ive got a speedfight with all the race gear on it. i mean (EVERYTHING) and I fitted a digital speedo today and it does 55. hahaha!. i was gutted...

I know how you feel, 80mph on the clock on my old one was only 65mph.

New one does an easy 85 on the digital, loadsa fun.

In regards to Doppler being any good, I'm not sure, but I have compared the DR, Polini and Malossi variators before, and the best one seemed to be the Polini, added a couple more mph to the top end and smoothed out the acceleration nicely.

Finally admit it now Smile , i remember when you said in another thread that it does 70mph+ and i was like no way, i had a tuned up speedfight 2 LC myself when i was 16 with all the MK stuff and the clock would go right round almost back to the zero, so was indicating about 75mph but i knew it was no more than 60mph on a long straight or down hill.

Yup. Confused
I stand corrected. Razz
But Ive only tried it out on the flat. Im yet to go down bluebell hill.
But yea, I was convinced that my speedo WAS correct, and now i see its 15mph out. Sad
oh well, life goes on. Drive belt snaped yestaday and I had to put my old 1 back on, Not as smooth now, but no worries, im running the F**ker into the ground. Getin a car. hehe! (call me a chav but ive got my eyes on a corsa) no neons or snow ploughs though. Just a nice set of rims.
L8rs...

By the way, I rate Malossi Way up front for the scooters!

Ben...

Malossi and Polini are the two "best" makes, but in my experience of tuning 50's, the Polini seemed to give a better response, plus they don't need a torque spring fitting or anything, which makes things easier.
