Horse and pig DNA. Maybe the animals were having themselves a little par-tay, IYKWIM. If you were on the way to the shredder, wouldn't you?

The packaging kinda gives it away if there's 8% more beef what was the rest. Laughing

Since moving here I've been waiting to find a horse steak that hasn't been the most expensive thing on the menu. Who knew I could've just eaten some cheap burgers?

I love how the world seems shocked by this but they still have no idea what is actually in their cheap burgers. Lips n arseholes we say in the Pinky house. Reality is its shit like connective tissue, gristle, ligaments, all the shit that does not go into their mince, steaks ett. Basically the shit that gets left after the butcher is finished taking their cuts.

I'd rather eat horse than that shite if its all the same.

They did a few years ago over 'halal' chicken breasts.

For chicken it comes on a big ship from China or Brazil dehydrated. In Rotterdam they have this massive massive facility which has a great big washing machine thing in it called a tumbler they stick the chicken breasts in and add water which is mixed with reclaimed pork protein to bind it to the chicken else it'll just leak out.

https://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2002/jul/08/bse.foodanddrink

The supermarkets also inject meat with a similar solution to add water into it.

https://www.foodproductiondaily.com/Supply-Chain/Water-injected-meat-the-UK-s-latest-food-scandal

Labour in their wisdom changed the law which told us the % of water added, only that it had been added. Which is why you buy supermarket bacon that leaks white wallpaper paste on frying and shrinks to 25% its original size. And chicken breasts which can be squeezed like a sponge. Rolling Eyes

Those Tesco horse burgers were nice, but I prefer My Lidl Pony...

Tesco have admitted sweetening up their value burgers by adding a little Shergar...

They have also said there is nothing wrong with them in the mane...
