Milestone have announced that they have the license back so maybe the new game due out this year will be just as good as 07 and 08 when they originally had the license Cool

Hopefully these people will understand, that even in full simulation mode, no, you cannot ride in the gravel at full lean angle. Thumbs Up

Climax developed the games MotoGP through to MotoGP 07 and published by THQ.

Capcom took the license and Milestone made MotoGP 08.

While Monumental Games developed the last two, 09/10 and 10/11 still both released through Capcom.

This explains why there isn't a new SBK game this year. Well done Milestone, moving back up in the world!

Try SBK2001 by EA, the most realistic riding game or there's a simulator called GP bikes: https://www.gp-bikes.com/ Check the site and some videos, or youtube. I played it with xbox360 controller on full sim mode and I was glad I did one lap of Philip island under 20 minutes, you control the steering, throttle, brakes, body position and gear shifter + clutch if you've got 3 hands Laughing

It depends on the player, I couldn't get out of the box, it took me more than 30 attempts to get on the track Smile

On arcade it's like any other game. There is demo version on that site, somewhere, in demo you can ride an 125cc two stroke on Philip island, the work is still in progress, try it. Thumbs Up

MotoGP2 was best and has long gone down in BCF folklore.

We used to fill 16 slots on an almost nightly basis on PC from BCF. It was just an excellent game. Not massively realistic, but great fun.

Anyone else played a bit more of this on 360 then?

I'm not finding it too bad, the crashing and bumping isn't realistic but then it would be ridiculous if you where knocked off every turn

played this earlier, it is shockingly bad. chicanes are almost impossible as the bike takes so long to tip over, the gravel is made of superglue on the inside of corners and shellgrip on the outside. the "suggested lines" have no reference to braking points, the other bikes are floating above the tarmac.

HOWEVER, the highlights reel was fairly good:

I haven't played the demo, but if Milestone's SBK games are anything to go by, you need to tune the bike to make it lean into corners fasters.
