I got a message there's been a CG125 dumped for a day or so, waiting to be nicked again. the cops know about it but don't appear to be doing much - don't have precise details yet but is there anyone around there with a van or something they would be 'ok' using to collect it and keep safe for a day or 2 while police pull their finger out?

It might well be stolen, no picture of condition yet either so I suppose there's the chance Police might take a dim view but I have emailed them about the situation and can give my details to anyone rescuing it to inform the cops it's all legit. Thumbs Up

(EDIT) When I emailed the local force, I got this:
Quote:
Thank you for writing to your local police. We will endeavour to respond to your email within the next 4 days.
If it's nicked in the meantime and used in crime or to mow down an innocent little kitten.. Sad useful aren't they? Rolling Eyes

You want someone to steal a bike for you?

Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything.

I don't want it, nor to profit from it's recovery - it's already dumped. I was just asking if anybody local minds harbouring it for a day or so, if not, no worries. Thumbs Up
