Evening All, After all this cold weather business and getting a fecking great stone meeting with my gloved hand on a m2 i had a thought.

Basically towards the last ten minutes of my journey even with my trusty lobster claws on my hands start to get severely cold- and this alongside the occasional bit of road debris to the fist is a pain the the arse so was thinking about some hand-guards as an option instead of muffs as its normally only a few minutes of pain and the occasional stone, but haven't a clue where to start for an er6n with them - obviously loads of motocross ones but a google didn't turn up too much so any recommendations? preferably easy to install as im simple likes that Wink

I got a set of these for the Sinnis : https://www.ridedirect.co.uk/uniko-motocross-handguards-black-0008159090-handguards-acerbis.html?utm_source=Google+Shopping&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=Google+Shopping

They have a 1-2cm wide clamp that fits fits onto the handlebars between the grips and the brake/clutch lever. I had too shuffle my clutch lever and brake lever over a bit, on my bike thats as simple as undoing 2 bolts until its loose and wiggling them along.

They have a massive impact on wind chill on my hands. I know muffs are best, but these things, for £20, are ruddy fantastc :)Dunno how they cope with 70mph+ speeds though. Im on a 4 stroke 125 ^^

Interesting post, I too have an ER and I am also interested in hand guards.

The ones Sable has shown can be found on ebay for £20, but what are they like at faster speeds.

Looking further there are uniko road handguards which are aerodynamic and weighted but £70.

Any advice appreciated, I have heated grips, but the wind chill is getting to me as I get older. I've tried muffs but hate them.

just had a quick message with the guy selling them on ebay and he said they will categorically NOT fit a er6n, only other ones on the bay are about 75 quid so back to the drawing board on that one

i'm in the process of putting hand guards on the hornet, i've some cheap ones i got a year ago for the 125 that didn't fit right,

I'm currently making a bracket out of the exising mount and a strip of aluminium to bolt to the bar ends and hold the guard in place.
