Right! I passed my test on the 17th (2days before the 3DLD!)

and have a Kawasaki ZZR250 (1992) in the garage. Me and my dad (who is a mechanic for 30+ years) fixed it up and it looks sweet as a nut (as runs well too)!

But the exhaust is a little rotten in spots not much we can do except fill the tiny spots in.

I'm looking for a set of cans for it, Akrapovic, art, yoshi, etc etc.

Anyone got any ideas with a price budget of about £150-200? I would be willing to go second-hand as long as they were exceptional quality!

Thanks for your input, Marty.

(OLD PHOTO OF WHEN I PICKED IT UP, haven't actually gotten round to taking a new one after all the work.)

From what I understand it's a GPX 250 twin with a different fairing, shame they weren't developed as a 4 cylinder screamer like the 250 ZXR, GSXR, FZR and CBR.

Suzuki does/did the same thing with in-line four Thumbs Up

EDIT: Interesting thing about this motorcycle is, that it's got the tank under the seat and where should be the tank is a space for your helmet, but I think the last Across was in the '95 so according to high rev engine, most of them would be dead now. The fuel cap is behind the seat under a cover that's opened with a button up front.

Hmm I like it the way it looks with 2 cans though, the ones from oz seem reasonable considering a single can can cost 300 on its own

The one from oz isn't a fully system it's just cans and link pipes.

£540!? You've really got to like your bike to spend that on an exhaust!

Not to mention the fact that if your experience of Predator Motorsport is anything like mine, then they'll sell you an overpriced, poorly manufactured exhaust for a bike that's only tangentially related to the one that you actually own.
