Xena XA101 Garage Intruder PIR Alarm 130DB Anyone tried one of these? Looking to increase security on my unpowered lockup for impending new bike and at £15 can't really go too far wrong.
Hope someone else might find it useful - although just discovered they add £4 shipping in cheeky fashion...

looks good i have 2 different ones in my garage https://www.maplin.co.uk/compact-pir-alarm-31613 but they are only 110db may get these as they are louder

yeah its all we can do

may even put a garage door defender down as well as i know that theives now know what i have in the garage so the element of secrecy is now gone so full security it is to make life as difficult and improve the chance of them being caught!

my alarm is so loud that if you dont cover your ears you could get permanet hearing damage and thats 110db

130db is where its at lol!

Forgot to update this thread when I got the alarm installed, but the offer got posted to me again yesterday and looking now it's still live at £14.99. Then sneaky postage
Anyway;
Easy to set up, works exactly as described and INSANELY loud. Seriously, it hurts Can't yet comment on battery longevity obviously (they claim 6 months), but thus far this really does seem good value Only downside I can see is you only have 10 seconds from triggering to get your code in - a bit short IMO if you're trying to get under an up and over door and then disarm it but I seem to be getting away with it

Might pick one of those up, hope the 15 seconds is long enough to disarm it though o_O especially as there's no lights in my garage and i'll be stumbling in blind
