Does look a bit different, wouldn't pay £1700 for it though.

"TRANSMISSION: 4 Speed - Semi Automatic"

That's interesting! Although I'd feel weird riding a bike with only one lever. Laughing!

Personally, my mind jumps to: "Why not just buy a CG/YBR for 1/3rd the price?" Confused.

looks about the same size and height as the kawazaki d tracker which i fell in love with at the bike show

but without the 3 grand price tag

i know the quality is going to be worse but its a commuter not an off roader

Is it just me or is that a Honda copy engine as used in pit bikes and their new monkey bike thing?

Looks pretty nice and as a commuter I think I could live with a semi auto...if it can still hit 65 or so.

edit: I love how well designed their website is: MAX POWER: 2.46.0 Kw @ 7500 Rpm

Is also says that the 65mph top speed is "restricted" Laughing By the rev limiter maybe...

BMW think Kymco are OK, they buy engines from them.

Actually, mainland Chinese brands like Dihao do as well, which is unusual as they try to scrape every Yuan by doing everything else in-house.

I did my CBT on a Kymco back in about 2002. It was quite an old bike that had been ragged by morons and dropped countless times but it was still in good nick and ran perfectly. I'd consider them as good as any jap 125.

Kymco used to be owned by Honda, and many of their bikes are clones of Honda bikes.

E.g. the Kymco People 300 seems like a close copy of my SH300.
