I've tried washing up liquid and turtle wax. Also I have a neck warmer that I've tried over my mouth and nose but that makes it worse.

Any suggestions other than buying the anti mist wipes? If I do buy some how good can I expect them to work.

I use my bike to commute to work so not riding isn't an option, despite the weather. Currently I'm leaving my visor open a crack but that isn't ideal.

inb4 pinlock.

If you can't get a pinlock insert, there's an anti-fog spray that you can use. Can't remember the name but if you google or ebay it you'll see what you need. Just spray a dot on the inside of your visor, wipe it round a bit, and it should last a few days, depending on how much you use your helmet.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

or you could get a scuba diving snorkel and rig it so all your breath goes out behind you or something Mr. Green

Just get a pinlock.

Seriously...ive tried every god damn thing in the book and nothing you rub on works...youll just be wasting your time. I tried wax, fairy liquid, shave gel, newspaper, various anti fogging products and not a single one worked. As soon as i got a pinlock visor the problem disappeared.

The biggest oversight in pinlock helmets is that the drop down sunvisors still mist up so still rendering the pinlock useless when the sun is out. Would have thought the manufacturers would have come up with something for the sun visors really.

Just ordered the diy kit. They don't make a visor for my helmet. Hope it works.

Thanks for the advice

Yup, pinlock. If you twat that up, a similar double-glazing idea is a "Fog City" insert. That sticks to your visor more or less permanently though, so it's not as flexible as the pinlock, and you need to get the fitting right first time.

I got an anti fog insert, like a pin lock but not. I had to use a bit of sellotape to hold it in position as it fell out once, but its been great since and never fogs up.

Won't toothpaste scratch the lense?

I use Rain-X anti-fog, works a treat and have had no reason to use anything else.

I use Bob Heath antifog spray. You have to put it on the evening before though.

Mine fell off after about 6 weeks but, it worked well while it lasted.

Just got some Bob Heaths anti fog spray and it works a treat, although it seems to needs re-applying quite regular.

Going to try a pin lock system on my next lid as everyone seems to rate it.

The problem I find with that is if you open up a tiny fraction it doesnt demist the visor....and if you put it up enough to clear the visor, the wind and cold make my eyes water....

If you dont have a flip front then this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000RQPQCO

paired with a pinlock.

Check the universal pinlock kit if your helmet doesnt already have pinlock compatibility. I just fitted one yesterday and its really brilliant.

A billion times better than the piece of shit stick on one that I had for about 1 week before it fell off.

I've got a caberg flip and the foggy wont work with it so I had to drill and fit the pinlock kit to get the best solution.
