Autosaves that dont save regularly...

Really piss me off. Spent 2 hours doing a mission, almost at the end then get brutally decapitated. I think oh well, go and try again only to discover the "autosave" that the game made a big deal to point out isn't really an autosave but just logs the beginning or end of the mission.

What happened to the old gays where it either saved regular, gave you checkpoints or you had to manually save?

well in dishonoured apparently you can, its just when a game makes a big deal telling you saves automatically, you'd expect it to save more than once per mission.
