Right so I feel like torching the thing...!

Trying to take off the front wheel..
Gsxr 750 srad 1996

From what I can gather I am doing it correctly but putting so much force (my version) on it it is not budging at all!!

Pinch bolts loosened on the side with the bit I am tryIng tO undo.
Thee other side is still tightened..
Trying with as much force as I can muster without pulling bike over and making my innards out of my bum!

Is that doing it correctly?
Don't have a hex bolt thing on the other side as assume (maybe wrong) that if the pinch bolts are tightened it would grip it tight that side.

Really wanted to get the wheel off tonight and the brakes done Sad

The spindle usually screws through the forks. It's like a long allen bolt

What? Confused
I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to describe.

Do you want to take the spindle out?
Undo main nut, release pinch bolts, hit spindle with wooden mallet, spindle falls out.

What? (again) Confused

What the hell is a hex bolt 'inside out'? Do you mean an allen bolt?

Undo all the pinch bolts,
And I'm 99% certain the spindle on the GSXR6 is the same as the one I had on my TLR1000, the spindle passes through the first fork leg, and threads into the other one.

You need either a spindle key, or a 17mm (Could be 19mm) male Allen key, decent bit of leverage, and it should just come undone (Standard thread, left = loose).

Left hand side ... Has a big nut thing that I am tryin to turn with a 27mm socket.
This side has the pinch bolts undone.

The other side has pinch bolts fastened, can see a circular hole with a small amount of thread poking into it from the axle bit. This bit inside here is perfectly round and of the same looking size to the socket bit I am using. This bits spins when I turn the other side.. Is this the bit where I jam a hex into? Could I not get around the hex bit by keeping pinch bolts done up and turning?

Are they only available to buy online or do halfords etc sell them?

So the axel is one of those giant allen bolt ones, but you want to try to remove it without the allen key?

This video shows the removal of a similar wheel:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CcSb-44nL0

You will see that you need the allen key.

As above - the pinch bolts are probably keeping it too tight.

You can bodge up an 'allen key' with a bolt and two nuts of the appropriate size head.

Do the two nuts up together towards the 'start' of the thread on the bolt (other end to the head) so that they form a lock nut.
Then to undo, insert the bolt head in to the hex-hole and turn the inner nut with a spanner (need to make sure the nuts are very tight against each other of course).
To do it up, do the same, but with the outer nut.
