Hi guys. Took my YBR out today on its maiden voyage. Was all going well up to a point when I nudged 55mph and all of a sudden the revs dropped and the engine management light flashed at me. I stopped to fill up with fuel and then carried on without any reoccurrence. I know it's a bit of an ambiguous question but any ideas? Cheers Wink

Oil level? Thinking

I've only seen mine come on when the booting up or the side stand goes down!

Would have been flashing a fault code. Maybe a loose connection to one of the fuel injection system components. Did you count the number of flashes at all?

In my experience that flashes the neutral light not the engine management light

It was just one single flash and the revs dropped off at about 55mph

Engine didn't cut out. It just died off and run a fair bit slower until I stopped and started again. I'll take it back out in a bit and see how it goes Wink

I had something similar the first time i hit 65, power suddenly took a huge dive and the light started flashing rapidly

hasn't done it since (4000 miles, lots of 65mph)

not a clue what it was, but it was before i replaced my air filter, so maybe it needed more oxygen or somesuch
