Warrenty?

Does anyone know if derestricting my NSR125 will affect my warrenty? Cos i still have 2 years left on it! My local honda dealer said yes and no! So does anyone else know?

Technically, no, it shouldn't automatically invalidate your warranty...if you have a look in your "service booklet", there is a list of "warranty exceptions" (or whatever), and most of them say "damage resulting from..."...so if anything goes wrong with your bike, and you have it derestricted, but you can prove that the derestriction process didn't cause the damage, then there souldn't be a problem...the best way of ensuring this is to get is done "professionally", but this isn't a guarentee...
