Suddenly having a shared en suite bathroom in which I can hear my housemate and his girlfriend doing all sorts of stuff including showering/shitting at 3am (they've done both several times ffs) and leaving the damn extractor fan on at night doesn't seem so bad.

Cansa I would say buy some earplugs but they're bloody uncomfortable to sleep in IMO, and you probably can't go round to try and reason with a chav couple, soo....looks like you're in for a campaign of passive aggressiveness perhaps?

When I used to sleep round my ex's flat, her upstairs neighbours were inconsiderate dicks. I had to wear these to get to sleep most nights, because random noise infuriates me
