I'm not interested in free stuff, it's the tweaks I'm after.

Bit over £400 - £440 for one in good nick. Mine however was dropped a few times and went for £370.

Can't see myself bothering with an iPhone ever again unless Apple do something interesting, loving the HTC.

Pretty decent, has 2100mah battery opposed to 1800 on the non-plus. Lasts all day, gets hammered if you use 3g all day and watch videos, just like any other smart phone really. One thing I will say is the big battery means charging takes a while, from USB it's something daft like 6 hours but a decent wall plug takes 2 or 3 (from empty to full).

My friend is looking for a good condition one for £350. Too late I guess.

They don't even put any effort in these days.

MinhDinh, should be doable on ebay for that price, just tell him to look at auctions finishing at weird times. Thing that worries me about expensive 2nd hand phones is the person selling could be getting rid of a contract phone, then decide not to pay the bills and the phone gets blocked.

Without sounding like a grumpy old man the update is borderline pointless.

No initiative what so ever.

Does a contract phone belong to the network like finance on a bike? I would have thought that a new number on the phone would mean that it wouldn't be blocked.

no, the phone is supplied outside the contract so to speak, the contract is for the service (weird, but that is how it works)
