Bloody Stupid Thing.

Insurance on line

Filled all the details in.

Go to pay

Wont let me pay because it says I haven't put the vehicle value in. I bloody well did and if I didn't why did it give me a quote to pay for?

BUT, it wont let me put a value in until the policy becomes live, it wont go live until I pay, It wont let me pay until I put a value in, it wont let me put a value in until it is live, it wont be live until I pay etc

So you haven't actually joined the contract then Question
If you have contact support.. If you haven't do a new quote.

£1 per hour 9-5 officer hours. Wont let me do new quote as I have one for it and can't cancel at this stage unless it is completed, then I can cancel and start again, but wont let me as I can't complete. Ground hog day or what?

What about searching for an high ranking employee's email address popping them off an email. Explaining that you want to cancel the quote and do a new quote but it won't let you.

Had a problem with Devitt before where they wanted proof of license sent to them via their email address provided which wasn't listed on the document. So ended up sending them to an employee who sorted it out for me worth a shot anyway. Different circumstances but could get it sorted for you.

Otherwise I'm confunked.

It was a mistake putting an animal with a rather small brain like a Meerkat in charge of the British insurance business.

Thinking What insurance site you using? I use GoCompare worked well the first time, PM me in a month or two, and I'll tell you how GoCompare were with a DT 125. I expect my pants to be pulled down. Crying or Very sad

linkedIn is good for that, I got the personal email address for the head of customer support in EDF UK.

I also managed to pin down someone high up in Swinton (the Poundstretcher of motor insurance) although I forget their job title.

It may have been arsewipe but I can't be sure.

Why?
Insurance companies and meerkats have a lot in common. Neither really care about you. Both like it when you feed them, although don't give food to insurance companies, it confuses them when they're expecting money.

BTW meerkats are really, really nasty creatures. Don't let the smoking jacket fool you.
