Hello, i just bought a new rs125 11kw from a shop 5 days ago,
However when its in neutral and the clutch is out the gearbox makes a noise, but when i pull the clutch in/in gear the noise goes?
Is this serious or just because im running in new parts/engine?
Many thanks..
Jonny.

If you're not always busy, it won't hurt to pop it into the dealers to let them have a look.

Ive never ridden an rs125 and have no idea of the specifics of the clutch, however from a purely mechanical perspective, Having the clutch lever pulled in is different to having the bike in neutral with the lever out, so it can mean you'll hear a slightly different noise from the clutch, but how loud / noticeable that is will vary from bike to bike

TL;DR sounds normal to me.

Clutch basket rattle is pretty common on many bikes.

It may not be common on yours, but I guarantee that the dealer is going to say "They all do that."

When you release the clutch you are setting into motion a whole load of other stuff, like the clutch output side, the gearbox input shaft and various other bearings and cogs. It is inevitable that you will get some noise from this lot - unless it is alarming loud it is normal and to be expected.
