Not sure if it would work but would that control the cheapy chinese heated grip pads?

It's near enough the same switch as I've got for my heated grips, only on mine if the switch is down it's for low heat with a green light (as on yours), switch up for high heat with a red light or switch centre for off - and, yep, you've guessed it - in this position there is no light!
