MSI Z77A-G45 Click Bios II Problem

I have a MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard with the 'CLICK BIOS II'. But i'm having a problem as i stupidly set my alternate HDD as 'Active' in Windows, and now it won't load. I need to access normal BIOS so i can do this repair code. But the CLICK BIOS II means i can't get onto BIOS.

Does anyone know any way around this

Tried that. Still comes up with 'BootMGR is missing'

So I'm guessing what you need to do then is change the boot priority.

I was under the impression the CLICK BIOS was a UFEI utility that is meant to replace the outdated BIOS. My opinion is that you should be able to do everything in CLICK BIOS that you could do in a regular BIOS + a lot more. I open the CLICK BIOS on startup [probably delete or F2] when the splash screen appears. Browse through the menus there until you find the one that says boot priority.

If you have a linux CD you may be able to open GParted or similar partition editor tool and change the boot flags without messing about with the BIOS settings

You've likely removed the active flag on your OS partition, fiddling with the BIOS isn't going to solve that.

Get a windows dvd that matches the edition on your PC and use the command line option under 'repair my computer'. That'll allow you to use the answer in the link you mentioned. Once you've got the command prompt up you'll want to follow from the line 'Diskpart' onwards. Just be sure to read and follow it very carefully. Diskpart can be hazardous for your data if you're not knowledgable with it.

*edit* just to add, the regular startup repair option on the windows DVD may likely be able to fix this automatically too. Worth a try before you delve into diskpart.
