i get an errors saying extension not allowed , whats the best way to upload a pic from the pc.

what extension is it?

use a website like tinypic, image shack, postimage.org

id rather just pop it up from my pc whats the process im clicking ad attachment then choosing file then submit but it doesnt work that way.

Save the pictures as jpegs and upload them that way.
Certain filetypes are disallowed to save space and for security reasons, I guess

I have a quick question....

How come when I attach a pic it shows it in the annoying white box showing how big, downloads yadda yadda. Yet I see other pics just straight on the page?

It's to do with sizes, if you want it to determine how it displays, resize smaller yourself, and use one of the free hosting sizes as mentioned above.

An absolute maximum to display full size in a post is about 1024 pixels longest side, or it distorts the message box on a typical screen resolution.
800 pixels is better really for a quick illustration, and helps keeps the page loading time down for those on slower connections.
