Go back and call for her. Stake it out, and film the whole event. Only way to be sure.

Brain plays tricks on you when tired fella.

Saying that, Grimsby. Could it have been a drunk in the woods? Lost circus performer crying for help?

I feel for you fella, it must be traumatic to witness something like that, who knows what it could do to your mind. Shocked

I see you only having 2 options:

1) go back when the conditions are similar and see what happens again, film it for Youtube.

2) go and check yourself into the local sectioning place for a few days, better to be alone and safe innit? If something can appear and disappear at will who knows what else it can do?

I can sympathise with you on this one. I live in Grimsby quite close to the area and know of and have had friends who have also seen it. i used to scoff at these stories but after some events in my life i now have an open mind on the subject. Wink

The poll seems to be missing the "tedious bullshit" option.

If it was anyone but the op, I wouldn't call bullshit.

I've 'seen' similar things before on a couple of occasions whilst out riding around.

Generally in the pitch black on back roads, and on roads / areas where accidents have known to have happened, and there has always been a noticeable drop in temperature for a couple of seconds.

Whether it's just mind tricks or if there has been something there, it's really quite unsettling, but in my mind, I know what I saw and the feelings that accompanied it.

I'm the most skeptical person around, but some things are just too hard to explain.

I once saw a man bent over tying his shoe laces at the side of the road in the dark. When I got closer it turns out it was just one of these:

I was VERY tired that night.... I've often freaked myself out with tired hallucinations Shocked

This, all 'ghost sights' tend to just be tricks of the eye/mind, load of bollocks

By the look of it every time he posts a thread, he gets more replies than the entire front page of any other topic board on this forum. I would guess attention, and he gets it in spades here.

I have never seen a ghosty, and I cant say I believe in god/afterlife/something after. I am more agnostic bordering atheist? But I always feel science hasn't quite explained everything (well... It hasn't has it? ^^ ). I think ghost stories (barring the OP here) are often fabrications, but sometimes, I wonder if theres a little something to them science hasn't quite explained yet.

Obviously not Rolling Eyes

It's cold where people have had crashes, maybe it's a change in elevation, maybe they crashed because the roads were icy because it's cold

Q: Ghost or Hallucination?

A: Bullshit.

The BCF karma/mod system is a total fucking joke when this daft cunt returns time after time to spout the same, tired, retarded lies.

Because he gets banned from every other forum that he's on, so has no other venue for his "donkey punched a ghost tranny while snowboarding down a shit geyser to within 4-thou of a broken back in Denmark Cornwall Italy".

Personally, I enjoy them, and honestly believe that you could collect and publish them - sort of a Bridget Jones's Delusions.
